Mintex pads.
Fitted new pads to the front last week, mintex extreme, although I used lots of copper slip they still squeal a lot, anyone else had a problem. maybe I should have put the grease between pads and shims as well as betwen the shims and caliper?

I did that with my Mintex ones but they still squeal like barstewards.
Others don't seem to have a problem though. Vixen, for example, has Mintex pads but doesn't suffer from squealing. Well, she probably does if you jab her in the right spot.

I've done mine twice now, to no avail, so I decided to put up with it. They don't squeal under really hard braking though so I just leave off the brakes until as late as possible. Or, even better, just don't use them.

Actually I have developed a bit of an annoying squeak but they've been on the car for a while which is a bit strange.
