Yep....mine too.

All 4 wheels being replaced later this week.

In my experience, when they replace the wheels, they DO NOT replace the centre caps..

Our caps are plastic aren't they? Why do the US cars have Alu caps!

are they plastic on the MY00+ and alu on the MY02+ ?'s?

Mine are too. At first I thought it was bird poo which corroded the top lacquer, but then realised that it must be some $hit-hot bird to poo EXACTLY on each wheel centre disc!

Going to speak to the dealer next weekend.

I think mine are plastic, which is why I think they have the white stuff, it's the silver coating coming away. That's what I assumed anyway, I will check this weekend.

As far as I know, stonechips are the main cause of pitting. All my wheels are heavily pitted with stonechips and this is not covered under warranty. However, these "milky white marks" are abundant on my alloys and the whole set is being replaced next Tuesday.

how can we get hold of the alu caps in the UK? or is it just america where their available?
