Default Mild Irritation

When reading threads I see numerous references to the S2000 as MY2000. Why is it written like this and what does it mean

Model Year - it's used to distinguish between the different versions of the car.

I think it's a bit of an Americanism which has been adopted on the UK side of the forum.

Yep MY = model year

The only other way to describe them is 00, or Mk1

I must admint I have used all three in the past

I used to 'work' for a car company about 16 years ago - they used the term Model Year 'MY'.

There is (was) a healthy debate once about what MY means.

It can also mean Manufacturer Year
