Drove home from work and noticed a speed related light squeal.
Suspected it was the brakes so gave it a few hard braking runs which got rid.
Drove home today and it has reappeared
Great timing as I'm off on the Euro Hoon next week
Off in to the garage to investigate

spent the morning messing to get her ready for the Euro jaunt next week.

Pulled the front pads, looks like they are the factory originals. So done 18k miles, some very hard and some track days.
Looks like the resin is starting to breakdown - some small chunks off the edge and some small hairline cracks starting in the pads materials. 5-6 mm of pad left across all four though.
I'm actually very light on brakes so I've cleaned them up, greased them up and refitted them.
Reckon I'll need to get a new set of fronts when I get back.
What to get!
I'm likely to stick to the OEM discs and want to keep the dust down any suggestions?

Discovered something else as well. The SC air filter is putting oil in to the intake. The oil is the protective oil put on to catch dirty. Must have over oiled it

Back from the Eurohoon
She behaved like a dream, what a car!
Tyres did 3200 miles and still have loads of tread
Mase is over in July hopefully so I'll get the next batch of mods done then!

A few pics as I know you like them

me chasing a couple of Merc test cars down a mountain!

Me on top of the Stelvio pass! (with Pie N Chips!)

It only reopened on the South side the day before.
The North side was still closed.
We had it to ourselves!
Managed 27 passes in 3 days!
