You know they will all be very considered
Making TVR's now that's an idea!
I have actually just been thinking about buying an older T350 and playing with whilst I keep the S

I suppose you could take a tip from TreVoR Wilkinson & call it the MKY S2000!

Mixed news
Having had a superb day @ Oulton Park on the track. After much feedback whilst there from a few people, I have realised I am never going to be able to replace the S with something anywhere near as good. One of the instructors was that impressed with it he offered to buy it whilst teaching me how to drive it hard
The S did a whole day with a 1 hour break and never complained once. Drove it there on the icy roads, thrashed it round the track 4/5 laps at a time. It went really well, out cornering several caterfields, blasted by loads of stuff on the straights. But not the race prepped cars
Drove it home! Can't beat that!
So I'm going to keep the car and drive it more.
I'm going to keep the mods.
Do a few suspension changes and a few other bits.
I'm going to leave the engine for now until it needs a clutch then go for the power increase and Mase tune.

Renewed interest in the S got me in the garage doing stuff today.
Stripped out the OEM radiator and fitted a Visteon light weight high effiency aluminium one.
The idea being;
* it weighs less (I know - it will be full of water )
* It has a higher cooling capacity (should help bring oil temps down)
* It had no aircon fan so more weight saved
* Gives more clearance for the SC intake pipe from the filter housing
* has a slightly higher rad cap pressure rating
I reused the OEM switch, no benefit going after market as the fan temp will be selectable when the AEM goes in any way.
Had to reroute the fan power supply cable though. No biggie. Just need the OEM connector that is on the OEM fan to save butchering the wiring. I'll get one from a breakers!.
Flushed the coolant system and refilled with nice new premixed coolant.
Also cleaned the air filter as it was very $hitty. Took the intake pipe of whislt I was at it and discovered where the small amount of oil it is using is going
The bloody valve cover breather that is piped in to this elbow is putting oil in to the air just before the SC. I don't like this idea as $hit will build up on the SC rotor and put it off balance. Looks like I need a catch can or maybe I'll just dump via filter under neath the engine

A good idea, will bring all the benefits as you state. Im currently sorting out the greddy, if i "would" which im not push the igntion timing more i would go down this route.
But im going for reliability over power.
However i had some mild timing and a map over the weekend and the S certaintly felt quicker and perkier .
Needs fine tuned at the moment though.
