Bit of an update with my next "upgrade"

I now have;
RC750 injectors
12 psi pulley and belt
Ricks header (on it's way)
Decat
AEM EMS 1052U ecu
Visteon high capacity radiator & fan (slimmer than the Koyo and higher cooling)
ACT Performance Clutch kit
BDL 70mm throttle body

I need to get:
Port match the inlet manifold and the gaskets
Remove front Krank vent and reaplce with breather filter or catch can
Source RC injector clips, clutch release bearing, subframe bolts, AEM 19 to 1 gauge
All the above fitted ready for Mase to tune

Contemplating doing a head job at the same time

Didn't you fancy going for that built motor mikey? shipping wouldn't be that much by boat.

But then again bit overkill for Comptech SC's we run out of puff at about 17psi, Vortech would be good for it, Rambo want a built motor.

Yep you might be right
I was contemplating giving a head to Puma Racing in the UK to do the following;
1mm larger valves all round
New seals
dual springs
F22C retainers
Gas flow inlets
Polish exhaust ports
Match gaskets to head
Not sure on the cams - consensus seems to be stay stock!

I could get them to bore and match the inlet manifold to the BDL throttle body as well

I'd have gone turbo long ago given the scope of the mods you are now looking at Mikey! I think the UK tuning barriers can be got around, mapping is the biggest hurdle and it appears this US chappie is more than competent.

Get the turbo size right and you can get linear bhp.

Much more efficient than S/C.

Turbo's give a totally different drive though.

Even "minimal lag" is still lag. I've not sure if I could go back to that for a "fun" car. Maybe for a daily beater.

Modern turbo's barely suffer from it though, and once you are on the boil the power is instant.

Not to bang on about the Evo all the time but the power curve from that was totally linear. Ok you got lag below 3k rpm but it would spool to a bar just afterwards, and an S/C will do just the same. From there on, any time you push the pedal it was instant.
