I think it's the two on the vtec sandwich plate, and the three that mount to that plate too.

There is the big one under that to the block .. and then the alternator bracket extension.
I can see that area being the most stressed and the destructions give torques.
Just try getting the in there to torque them up properly.

Know what you mean. Are they not cap heads though? They are on the Vortech, ie big allen key.

Thread has been vaped but its the ones on the end of the block above your pulleys, or between the blower and the block if you like. They are 2 of the head bolts IIRC.

That's a Vortech mount the Comptech is completely different.

As Bibbs points out the weakest point in the Comptech is bracketery to the left of the blower. It has 3 mounting bolts in to the vtec solenoid adapter and one long one in to the block from the blower. It also has two directly in to the vtec adapter block. The fourth goes in to the alternator via an adapter on the far right.

I can't see a failure causing an engine casting failures. It would be a pain to fabricate replacements (seeing as Comptech have gone bust )

Ah I see. The vortech has a lot of mounting points. Has the plate into the VTEC solenoid, and quite a few onto the front of the block too, but not one onto the alternator.

Bit more work on her tonight!
Re fitted the Amuse as it was knocking on the diff mount! perfect now!

Cleaned and test fitted the Racing Harts, looking

Ponder on the strength of the mounting brackets
Finally got the oil filter torqued up with the right tool.
That allowed me to finish off the charger install.
Just got to get my fuel pump in, fuel line sorted, the FPR mounted behind the coolant expansion tank and the power to the coolant pump relay.

Nearly there!

I'll test run it all before I put the bumper back on!

Enjoy the fuel pump Mikey, enjoy....

My guide should see you through it.

I found it a bast to get the rear tray back in porperly and lost one or 2 of the plastic poppers. Make note of which came from where when you get to that bit!
