one of the reason we bought the house, though it is a bit cluttered with DIY stuff at the mo.

Edit: finally cracking on with it

Looking very good Mikey!

I'm so jealous!

So, would I be able to run the comptech SC kit just by itself, or would I need an uprated MAP sensor, 750 injs and a new ECU?

You *should* be able to run the SC out the box, but a lot of people find that it'll not run at 100% as it'll lean out the stock injectors.

I didn't want to go for the ecu & injectors .. and i tried a few things to try and stop me needing to.

Didn't work, I'd defo factor in 750cc's (or there abouts) an ECU (AEM, Hondata, Emanage etc) and then get a good tune. I decided to hunt around and found there was no-one i'd realy trust with the F20C in the UK.

Nah the stock install doesn't need all the injectors, ECU dyno etc!
It's only the power junkies that go that far!
This set up replace the fuel pump and regulator to allow the Comptech pump and regulator to up fueling.
Only one slight problem Comptech went bust this month
That only leave Vortech which is harder to install but has higher output potential.

So in theory the OEM ECU could cope with the fueling then?

As i said it *should* .. but 99 times out of 100, doesn't.

After reading up about the SC's, not many people can get a safe setup without new ecu/injectors.

Just to add to Ben's comment safe means and air fuel ratio of ~12.0. Most people who struggle with this have either an exhaust, cat or manifold, or some other breathing mod causing it to go lean.

Modifry on the US site ran his stock car with a stock comptech install with out an after cooler for over 100k miles!

I've decide to refit the Amuse in the week. Talking to it's original owner I've done domes thing wrong for it to knock on the diff mount. I used exhaust paste on the cat/manifold joint which proably stops the cat rotating on the joint properly and it may be sat high.
So strip it out, new doughnut and try again!
