Just one coat, I sprayed 303 on to a small sponge as it can make a mess if sprayed directly on to the car, did it around 6 months ago and still looks good although my car is weekend/dry weather use only so not had any rain on it but the water seems to bead nicely when the car is washed.

Also must say that is a tidy NFR, I was looking for one for about twelve months before I gave up and bought the Cayman.

Thanks Rob for your clarification. Looks like I was doing it right. Whether I put enough on the sponge is another question, will analyse the top over the next few days. The Monday rain I saw the water just get soaked into the softop so hopefully water should bead after this application... fingers cross.

Giff, that is very nice car mate. I'm a fan of Porsche and was looking at the Boxster/Cayman however the potential maintenance costs put me off from owning one. How's it been treating you?

Cheers, pretty well although I'm just preparing to change the common fault water pump and replace the 22 liters of coolant!

Good that you're happy with the quality of your cover, Mike. NFR looks a lot like Monza Red in certain lightning.

Just to do with the exposure. Depends on the camera really, if your doing it all automatic then not much you can do. If your using manual then I would set it over exposed, bit like when shooting snow, need to shoot over exposed to compensate.

Good choice as red is THE fastest colour.

Discovered the rear licence plate surround is coming loose on the left side - you can make it move it up and down.

I read here, to investigate I have to take the bumper off and check the brackets holding the surround. Has anyone come across this problem before?

Lastly would you think the warranty that I got from the dealer would cover fixing this?

Thanks
