the reason i was thinking about bringing the car over also.. was becuase i've done a few mods to it.... i don't really want to start all over.... and yes i have fallen in love with it..
I have the same problem. There is rumours in the bank about my returning to UK, London. I lived there for two years but did not have time to know the city
I have a few mods like air filter but driving on UK roads with a LHD is a pain in the neck. So I will not bring my car to London but will keep it.

Just a thought - with a British passport you can choose to live anywhere in the European Union, and most of the other countries drive on the right
LHD is a real pain on British roads. I drove mine there last May. No problem on the motorways but that's not where it's fun anyway. On the back roads it's really hard to overtake and it kills the whole experience.

well if i do come.. i'm going to be staying with my grandparents in wales for a while, while i get accustomed to the area and end up finding my own place... maybe in cambridge? so by that time, hopefully all my stuff would be at the port going thru customs..
and as for moving somewhere else in the european union.. well i don't speak the language so it'll be harder for me to deal with...

lhd + UK roads = PITA
Cambridge - worst county in the country to own an S;
Every road is straight
Every road is camera'ed
Petrol is same price as London
Move to somewhere near:
Wales
Yorkshire
The Highlands
p.s., I THINK that to change your flag, you have to change the country in your profile.
Not tried it myself, of course...
Oh, and watch out for the Blue Police, boys.... Custodial sentences have been issued

Give the UK a try before going headlong into it-visit granny for a month or so
LHD would be absolutely shit in the S here-it's bad enough with RHD & trying to overtake anything that is over 2m in height
Whats peoples opinion on headlight washers? Will he need to get them put on? If so it will probably mean a new bumper?
And you'll need to convert the number plates front & back anyway
Car prices are more expensive here-but it's all relative isn't it-it will depend on how much you get paid here relative to what you do there.
UK badge-change your country of origin to the UK in your profile
