Default Meguiars Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant

Is this the correct thing to use on the roof or is it meant more for the interior?

Well... their website list other products for the vinyl roof.

Just be careful what you put on the roof.
Sometimes when it rains - you can get an oily finish, and the product can run down onto the windows. Yuk.

Is Aerospace 303 protector good for just black roofs (sp) or can it be used for blue too? (Just because i've heard that it leaves a nice, matt black finish)

Ok ordered some 303 and got some sonja leather cleaner/conditioner at the same time.

In the FAQ it says wash the roof with warn soapy water, would be ok to use the same soap you use for washing the body or don't you want shampoo with wax on your roof?

Unfortunately, the 303 will get washed off onto the windows / paintwork. I have yet to discover a product which stays on and gives a nice beading of rainwater.

Any Suggestions chaps and chapesess?

Not impressed with 303 myself because it does run, I prefer Duragloss 301

The trick is to apply it sparingly with a sponge and then buff off with a clean microfibre towel, I haven't noticed runs when I used it - should only need doing maybe 3 - 4 times a year....

Will be fine as it's suitable for all colours. Another use is for tires - leaves a nice fresh rubber look!
