Its much better with 2 matching seats, weight saving aside

Can you open the centre compartment with both seats pushed right back?

Yep, they don't touch the doors or the centre compartment.

The downside is this.

The passenger seat has all 4 floor bolts in place, which means the right hand bolster is pushed up against the centre tunnel. This is fine, but it means the seat won't slide back and forward. No probs as it's the passenger seat. In the Exige is was fixed anyway

The driver seat currently has one of 4 bolts out (to be sorted) which means it is not squashed against the centre tunnel and can therefore slide back and forth. It's the front left one, and a new hole needs drilling in the floor as it's a bolt diameter out. I can get all 4 in but it then means it won't slide.

Basically these seats are a very tight fit and they won't fit the OEM floor holes and be able to slide without a modification. The medium ones would be fine, but these large ones are a bit big for the car. Perfect to sit in though. I think the medium ones would be a bit tight for most, and i'm pretty slim.

Christ that's a bright red! Look very very snug though - is there no way of adjusting the seat mounts to the rails so they slide forward but at a slight angle?

Better pics added, you can see that they aren't that red now

I see what you mean UF, but I would have to set the tilt at a very downwards angle to do that. It's set perfect at the moment. Passenger seat doesn't need to move really so that's ok. All I have to do is sort the drivers one by drilling a new hole and putting a nut under the car.

For some reason they look as though they are set to gangster lean mode When you are sat in them you feel fairly upright, and i've allowed a bit of tilf for the fact a helmet will push your head forward a bit.

It's only one more hole and as long as you copperslip the old one and but a good nut and bolt in it - it will be fine?

Could you not use a piece of flat stainless bar with a hole tapped in each end? Would save you drilling more holes in the car and you could use a short M6 Allen bolt through the seat rail into the bar?

IIRC looking at the bolt sizes and lengths, it's the rear ones that do all of the work?

Looking good .....

I also had to drill a new hole for the same bolt on the drivers side.

Interesting Steven, and you have the smaller size seat!

UF, through the floor is the only way. It's no big deal as there are 4 there already.

It all counts! I have removed the weight of a small man, or a full tank of fuel

The weight has been removed by replacing functional bits though, my limit stops there. Removing AC / roof motors and adding carbon panels are a step too far!
