Just been out in the car again tonight.
My MPG has improved, naturally.
But it's so much nicer to drive. It reminds me of the K20 Ivtec I had in the DC5, which was a nicer engine to drive than the F20. Now it has that low down flexibility of the Ivtec.
And it really flies through the gears!
Think i'm going to order a seat tomorrow. Recaro SPG is the most likely candidate. If it's good, I might order the other one

Bride UK have a special offer on seats. The UK distributor is pulling out and is now clearing its stock. The only problem is that they don't have any S2000 rails in stock. Same with Buddy Club UK, no S2K rails in stock

I'm just not keen on a seat with "Bride" written on it
Feels a bit like "Kevin & Stacey" on one of those sunstrips

Good luck with the Recaros. I tried to find a Recaro rail for my Bride seat - none in the UK. Special order from Germany - 3 working days which is not too bad

But the BC ones will work with Recaro, right Rick? And I think I can get them in the UK...
Chris will have the titanium special edition version and probably knows the serial number

The Recaro rail's to have are the Japanese ones.
Rare though as ever.
No doubt Chris will have them in his car

Yeah the BC rails will fit pretty much all side mount seats from what I can gather, they do work with the SPG as well yes, it is fiddly and annoying though.
I found it best to bolt the rails where you want them first, then bolt the sidemount brackets where you want them, then bolt the seat in place.
You will need a cut down allen key for getting in next the to the centre console and your hand might be a bit sore after
The BC rails allow you to set the seat on the floor which is what I was after, you loose the sliding adjustment though as the handle won't fit in due to the transmission hump.
Also, my rails nor seats came with bolts to bolt the seat to the rails. From memory they are M6 or M8 cap heads about 50mm long, get a few washers as well.
Also get two big washers for the forward seat mounting bolts as the holes are slotted in the rails.
Think thats about it!
