Sounds obvious Steve, but unless they are identical then they are not the same. The fins will be part of the casting process which leads me to believe they are made somewhere else. I do wonder what the material make up of them is though.
Misunderstading.

I'll clarify.

The Dixel design/casting is the same as the Brakes International.
(both being different to Honda)

Easy to machine some slots, anyone can do it.

For some reason, I think the buddy clubs look quite cheap...much prefer the look of the Cobra's! I guess the bc are more comfortable?
Or if you want the JDM Bling, try Bride

I think Steven's are the 'small' size I doubt you could even fit in them, you probably need the medium size buddy club seats........

Mugen888 has Bride in his car - not sure what size they are. Bloody tight fit when you're in them but they do hold you properly

When you read about the JDM market, Bride were always cited as the budget brand in Japan.

And 'bought by those who couldn't afford Recaro' was the last quote I read.

Just like any market, we imitate by buying 'JDM' although the reason for it's popularity at home isn't quality.

Last year I had the side panels on my seats re-covered in black leather as the suede was stareting to wear and look tatty. It made a big improvement.

There are not many seats that will fit in the S, even the small Buddy Club seats are a tight fit.
