Looks great Mark, have you driven the car with it on yet? Would be good to know if it feels any different.

Chris.

I think jacking the engine mount up was easier Steve. I did look at removing the linkage, but never heard of anyone having to do it to install a manifold, so I went the other route.

Marios / Kartaphilos

Chris, might pop out now, just got to put the airbox back on. Best to try it in stages. Will report back I think it's going to be one of those things which will work great in combination with the intake, decat and mapping. Decat is in the post!

Edit - Evo is in the way and CBA to move it tonight

I have the KWv3 and have found the supplied settings TOO SOFT, as the American racers said.
See thread below in signature.

Steve
How much are the KW v3s?

KWv3 Over £1500 now due to the Euro.
Just looking at them with Haroon.
They are German made, and made to order.

MB, good work mate, I was going to get the machnics to do it all, I have a Toda Header, Polished/Ported intake manfold and Spoon TB to go on!

Its a daunting task, but I guess once you start....

What gaskets are you using? Did you get a complete gasket set from Honda?

nice work!

J's one comes with a new gasket for the head and a new donut for the cat

If you have the tools and the space, it's worht a go, but in hindsight i'd rather have handed it over to a mechnic I do feel quite good for having a crack at it, and at least I know how it's been fitted, to my standards.

Ported and polished manifold sounds nice! Is the Spoon TB a version 2? I've long been sceptical about them, but I was talking to MightyWokka today about the J's one and he reckons it made a huge difference to the throttle response.

Redun - cheers

They've gone up over the years then!

KW's are brilliant, I've ran them on my cars for the past 5-6 years

Perfect!

I'd be interested in any results with the inlet manifold, have you opened the neck up where the tb goes? Or is it the runners you have ported?

I'm been meaning to do this for ages but never got round to it

MB - I've running the Toda 70mm tb, I can confirm the throttle response is much better, i'd also say the cars pulls slightly better at high revs and maybe just before VTEC.
