It's waaaaay quiter than the K&N! I'm a bit disappointed. Although I bought it for other reasons

Need a loud exhaust now!
I can supply you with one of those,I don't know if the supercharger made it noisy... So you may have to buy that as well.

Razz says his is still noisy with Dixons decat/silencer on.

HT went a while ago unfortunately. Ninebolts is taking care of it for me One of the rules of owning such an item is that I should really get first refusal when he gets bored of it

Got the yellow box from Dixon. The gears are perfect, you would never know they were not OEM from the noise. Clearly more torque but i'm bedding them in so not sure how they will perform on full throttle. I have ordered the cams and will get them fitted in the new year, with same day before and after dyno at Eurospec I'm hoping for a few more bhp with the AEM and cams fitted.

Really .... i find the K&N quieter than the AEM i've heard and both lack the howl of the PRM .... i miss the PRM actually.

MB my understanding is to agree with Esem and you really need the valve springs to be safe, perhaps Chris may also have an idea on this. Not sure how experienced the guys advising you are with the F20C Block.

Re retainers and springs depends on condition of the car and what Marks rev limit will be (Not sure what stage 2 involves and if it warrants them), however for piece of mind there no question you'd get them.

I think you will get your extra power with your AEM and Cams Mark, is it tuned for 97 or 99 RON?

Let us know what you think of the gears when you've bedded them in?, 500 miles of heat cycles IIRC, if your going to get it tuned again and go with AM springs and retainers up your rev range a little to negate the gears

Mugen, why do you think I need them? (they aren't essential by any means)

Aj, 99 RON mapping. OEM rev limit.

Raz, no Andy Vey (Veysport) setup and fitted the diff. The tolerances were all within spec, just fitted new some Honda seals. He's done a few rally car diffs. I'm just checking on the run in, but it's about 500 miles. Or 3 months driving
