I suspect that the velocity difference through Radillion will more than make up for any aero advantage I might have...

Great read and excellent project thread. The ings product looks rather tasty, i'll be interested to see how it performs for you on the car.

As for DRS, oil, machine guns and spikey things - that's more like it, bring on the mad max motoring

Those look like A048s next to the wing.

Cheers C7.

Lee, they are indeed... waiting to be punished. Garage is an S2000 party yard

Well Honda did another good job today with the EPS fault. They plugged my spare ECU in, programmed it to my car, then did some basic fault diagnosis. I have a short between the EPS ECU and the torque sensor. Their knowledge was very good and the service manager did exactly what I wanted, and the bill was small. Dixon is sorting me a spare EPS ECU () but I have a bad feeling it's the torque sensor itself, which is a bit of a bugger to swap out.

I'm actually preferring the drive of the car with no power steering though! You can feel everything, like the Exige. I'm going to get it fixed, then might try a few laps on track with it unplugged Bit heavy at low speed though, and catching opposite lock will be harder.

Also got a new OEM front bumper today, from Hendy. Excellent service as usual, arrived within 2 days! Plan is to go back to the OEM bumper at some point soon.

Another job on the list is the final drive gears. Just waiting for them to come back from GearX but can't wait to get the 4.44 fitted again as it was a massive improvement in the pace of the car.

Small vid of the car here:

Nice. Always wondered what it would be like without the PS assist. . Are all UK steering racks the same.

It's feckin' torture at low speeds...impossible below 10 MPH, very stiff below 30 MPH, but good after that it's good news

Unless you happen to Arnie of course

Rear bumper exhaust cap fitted.

Side skirts and front bumper are off ready for the shiny new OEM bumper to go back on.
