he certainly did and that was with a Mugen ECU, I would expect even better gains with an AEM.

There is all this talk about F20Cs not being tuneable in terms of NA. I honestly don't believe it. eSeM fitted cams to his and had a good 15-20bhp gain.
Ron I think you're behind the times there! As well as eSeM, i've proved also proved it on the dyno in the past, with over 20 bhp peak and mid range increases after mapping on the AEM. Same with my current car. And others have also done it.

It's just a case of choosing the correct mods - there are a lot which just don't work. I have Toda cams planned for mine soon

Here's the proof from my last mod thread (copare light blue to red)

"We did a before and after to prove the increase, but all the mods were already on there so really just shows the increase from the AEM alone. I gained massive mid range which you can see below, 30 bhp in some places."

dark blue - MB stock
light blue - Gaspode stock

red - MB Mased
purple - Gaspode Mased.

With full induction and exhaust mods (stage 1 effectively) after fitting the AEM, I picked up the same as MB. Cams and properly set up Throttle bodies would be the next evolution!

Hi guys

Keep in mind one thing that dynos are all different and some of them read a lot of Power

In my terms when i had my car nearly stock , only modes were J's Racing cat back exhaust system ,Spoon flywheel + clutch kit and Greedy Short RAM INtake.

And by the way my car is a JDM model so i should see 250ps.

In reality on the same dyno with the above mods i got only 240ps.

So maybe i have bigger numbers and do not now

With the exhaust and intake you would start seeing the car run a little richer, and without the proper adjustments to fuelling etc, and age plays a part, that sounds about right TBH.

Adding an intake and exhaust makes it run leaner.

Spo001, it's a fair point. Does the dyno you went to have any figures for a standard S2000?

Nope guys . No numbers . I guess i am the only S2000 on that dyno !

Apart that when i got 240 ps the car was running more rich as the air/fuel ratio was 12.5:1.

As you all now JDM cars are all tuned on a 100% octane fuel , I guess my car was running rich cause it was knocking all the way with Malta's fuel (89)octane . Very poor fuel (: . Obviously in this way it will automatically retard itself and will rich.

So shall I order black or bronze wheels for the car... hmm... I say black. Tougher and hides brake dust

Depends what wheels you are ordering, but probably black.

Gloss or matte/satin?

Chris.

Cheap ones in a sort of satin finish I've spent too much on this car now and need to focus on another purchase. No Rays have popped up for sale since I sold mine either
