I think a full decat might do some good, Aj. I was surprised how restrictive looking the Berk one is on mine. Might be worth half an AFR point?

PS - ST is softop. You will need yours for when you go to the local dogging sites

Highside, will bear that in mind if Bookatrack don't come up with something this year. I need to get there! A guy took me out in his CSL last year and I was seriously impressed with it. Those gear changes feel painful though!

Got Spa booked, Anglessey planned plus the Ring and i'd like to do Donny and Combe this year too. Hmm thats 2 sets of tyres and brakes

Thanks for that.

Ah bugger, don't know what to do now - i cant really be arsed getting under the car again . Yeah you'll be right it will lean it out somewhat, its already mental enough tuning on the road.

I'd like to dyno the car with decat and with HFC, it might help with the lowered vtec point. Though berks say they flow 87% as well as a decat!

Looking very smart mate! What roof is that? I'm leaving my hardtop and upper section of my mirrors black also.

You can tell me to get stuffed ......

But i think the Mugen HT just looks right on an otherwise almost OEM car, 'gay' mirrors will look like just that and will detract from the overall look of the car.

Spindly mirrors belong on motorbikes and kit cars / Saxos etc.

UF, it's not going to be a show car I've shaved a load of weight off so far, and there's a bit there in the mirrors I can steal! Nearly all the mods so far have both saved weight and added some sort of performance. There are bits where you could say they aren't needed, like the skirts, but I didn't fit them and they weigh bugger all But things like the bonnet, breaths better and weighs less, seats hold you in and weigh a load less, front bumper has a good undertray, nice hole for cold air and canard things so all functional (it is fairly ugly afterall ) Wheels will be lighter. Lighter battery going in. Whole exhaust system weight peanuts and adds power etc etc.

Softop will be coming out soon too.

This year is really about getting in on track. I think next season it will get gutted.

One more...

On another note, i'm going to have to get some rain guards or a cover for the K&N, for when the car is being washed or rare event it sits outside. Luckily I realised before starting the car after washing it, that the filter was quite wet. Could have been an expensive error

Ok how about this ....

Don't fit the new mirrors until you've shaved the existing ones off with dodgy overtaking moves
