LG, I have the odd bit of instruction on trackdays. I can see where your thought process is going with that comment though

As for my thought processes, see the last bullet point
I was scared when I was a passenger in my friend's car, how can I help him or her politely?

Looks good. What I know would make me faster is beyond the limit stuff. I can play with the S2000 a fair bit, did some comedy drifts at Spa last year, but i'd like to do that in a safer place.
I'm sure a few will think it's a waste, andI'm not claiming to be a fast driver (instructors i've had have said good things though) I just like modifying the car and seeing / feeling it improve. A standard S on track would bore me.

Yep I like the look of that after a good read!
Just mulling over coilovers. I really did like the Tein Monoflex I had, and could get another set, but tempted to try something different. Looking at KWV3 or Nitron as alternatives. Nitron are dear, and not sure I can justify 2 way (although I got used to experimenting with them on the Exige) KW are in the same price bracket as Tein.
I think Mikey had Nitron, and Steve had KW. Views appreciated

Errr, I'm of course the first Nitron owner, Mark Not cheap but I can honestly say the combination of build quality and after sales support ensured that I never regretted the decision. eSeM has the Track setup and I had the Race setup. The latter is overkill TBH

I thought the idea of this car was to stick to what you know and like? Surely on that basis, spending potentially 2k on suspension is not a great idea if you don't already know you'll love the way they make the car ride / handle?

What are you looking for in terms of coilovers MB
My Buddyclubs are sprung very well for road use and the shockers seem to adjust up to a nice hard setting for track use. After 18months of limited use they appear in pretty good nick still and the price was very reasonable compared to some other brands on the market.

Cheers PL / Steven. Agree the race is overkill!
Fester, not sure your point there? If you never try, you never know. I didn't know if the tein were any good before I got them! And I think it's wise to look at the options again. I bought the monoflex as they were cheap at the time too, so it was an easier choice.

I just thought you were going for a car you KNOW you will love ..... from other forums i've been on, KWV3 seem to get very good writeups although at the price they are, so they ruddy should! I ended up going for Weitec on my last car - rebadged KW from what I could find on google.
