Default Mats, Machine washable?

Hi Guys,

Are the S2000's standard mats machine washable by any chance?

Thanks

You first!

I use the household carpet cleaner, much safer I would think.

I used to wash my old CRX mats in the machine, came out really well. Just do it on a wool cycle or something and use non-bio washing stuff.

Use an all purpose cleaner, dilute to 10:1 spray on, agitate with a stiff bristled brush and then rinse/dry or use a wet vacuum.

Putting it in the washing machine is probably quite unwise. If you do though a good way would be to put them in a cloth bag tied tight to protect the mats.

i stuck my mats in the bath to soak for a few hours (water only), got a stiff brush, 5mins later i was done.
a touch of washing up liquid directly onto the mats and rub it in did wonders

hung on washing line, hosed down to remove soap, left to dry overnight then into airing cupboard to finish drying out.

aside from being clean, because they were soaked in bath flat, and hung out to dry, they came out un-shaped too. which is good, because pre-clean they werent formed right in the footwell and kept moving about and catching on the pedals.

I would use another cleaner other than washing up liquid, it's far too strong and will weaken the mats
