It pains me to say that I m gunna be calling in sick for this

I came back from my hols last night at 3am. I woke up early today finish a few jobs on the S in prep for this. The car has got a really bad vibration under power. So far ive changed the driveshafts and it improved slightly but in third gear (mostly) the vibration is as strong as ever still.

I would have gone like this to the dyno tbh but I also found something amiss with the supercharger belt, it has lost 1 of the 7 ribs. IM going to investigate this tonight but i think I will have to take the plate off for analysis.

Gutted.

Razzele - Do you have Driveshaft spacers fitted ??

I had heavy vibration caused from worn CV joints, spacers filled the void and stopped it.

Thanks Lloyd I am really tempted--

The belt wear itself may stabilise. Richard reckons he had a car turn up from Devon with only 3 ribs remaining on the belt

What I don't want to do is waste my and potentially other peoples time by driving around the country in a ticking time bomb, recipe for frustration and a long ride home on the truck of shame!

I have had similar belt wear in the past for apparantly no reason, on the flip side it will drive without the blower connected!

Yup, I turned at Surrey rolling road to find I was the only one there, I spoke to Charlie who told me Mase is only planning on tuning tomorrow afternoon!
