MAP Sensor Screws
Phase one of solving my kangarooing/hesitation/idling issue began the other day, with a MAP whack. At least, it was meant to.
Unscrewed one of the screws without issue. Obviously didn't put enough pressure on the screwdriver with the second one. The screwdriver lost purchase, and buggered the head of the screw. What are they made of, tinfoil?
So phase one was a failure. Hopefully I'll be able to get the screw out without having to resort to desperate meaures.
If I can't get it out using a screwdriver method, what would be my best course of action?
Ta.

You could use small mole grips if you have any be careful with them.

Cheers guys. Thanks for the linky Moto.
Such a nuisance that such a simple little thing would cause such a problem.
Have bought some carb cleaner today, so will be having a go at cleaning the throttle body soon too. Fingers crossed I can manage it without issue.

Try not to shoot the bendy pipe down its gizzard.
I did that with the 'Lude last time and had to take the inlet apart. Which is interesting, since it's dual length with butterflies and shit.
