Default Manual says change to winter tyres....

Actually read some of the S2000 manual last night, though I best give it a read after spinning my car a while back .

A couple of funny things it recommends you to change to winter tyres when the winter arrives

I didn't realise it said this. Not a shock though considering the record for the S02s in the wet.

All car manuals say that. My Fiesta's does. They are just generalisations that they can use to cope out if you do something stupid.

The tyre thing is about what they call snow tyres on the continent, hence why you need a sign on your car to say that it is wearing them. I have already read that bit too and only had the car for 3 days.

I coped with S02s all last winter, and i drive hard. I do of course tone it down for wet, but I certainly don't hang about and I do Vtec. You just need to make sure you aren't complacent if you are doing anything other than dawdling in the wet. Come those dry days the S02's are back to being glue.
