Assuming that many folk will use the toll road - I shall continue using the old M6 if I am going that way.

Although there are other alternatives for those that can be bothered.

I wont be using it much. The bit of the M6 I do tend to use is the busiest bit from Junction 10 to Spaghetti. I sincerely hope that the heavy lorries use the toll road though, it will do a lot to ease the congestion on that stretch. 11 quid for lorries might be a bit steep if they want to encourage them to use it. Time will tell I suppose, and we tend to forget that lorry drivers are under pressure all the while with tachos in the cab, so they just might take to using it.

The saddest bit is that private enterprise has stepped in and will clean up no doubt thanks to government ignoring a problem that's been building up for years.

As an infrequent user who has endured this stretch of road over the last few years, I see this as a Godsend and a bargain at

I think its a joke......I won't have a say if we use it or not but i'd prefer not to

we already pay enough for our vehicles to be on the road I'd rather sit in traffic than pay extra to be on the motorways.......it would have been better to have a lane for cars with just one person in .....or separate truck lane........

Isle of man sounds like a great idea

Well I will be using it and can't wait because the nightmare that is the M6 round Birmingham is just a joke and I positively hate sitting in traffic, but it is worrying that they have complete autonomy! and I am not getting into a road tax/govt discussion etc.
