Am I causing trouble again Ian?

Managed to install the 4 3-way Kenwoods yesterday, wasn't too difficult in the end - what a complete transformation! - had to spend rest of afternoon cruising around listening to the system, really am very pleased, but do agree with NeilW, you can probably do very well just getting speakers from Halfords and a few bits from Lucid, there's no magic in the way they install the rear speakers in the panels.

Thanks for the offer of help Ianl and Dog Biscuit - we should still meet up Wed after work, go for a beer and a bite? And ukliam, thanks for your offer - if you're around in Brighton, why don't you join us?

Just finished installing my Kenwoods from Lucid and I must agree with AlexC that it's not a difficult job. I must also agree that I would have only ordered the harness and got the speakers from Halfords.

Did you expect there to be??!! Theres a bloody great big cross-beam that is easy enough to foul....even by 1mm....so its not as easy it may look when you "just screw in the panels".

Just thought it was a tad harsh on lucid - he provides a quick no-frills service for s2k audio - and has never professed to do anything else.
