low oil pressure warning light

I suspect it could be the oil pump also.
I have just driven home (14 miles approx) and when I got on the drive I turned it off, waited for a min and turned it back on. When I started it up again it went off as soon as it fired, good news....hopefully everything is ok

started my S todya after 5 days standing - oild press light went out after less than a second.
on hot engine it takes glimp of a second to turn off.
so what oild filter do you use and what mileage it did?

If its being consistent then its not the OIL pressure switch.
I also dont think its the clogging affecting it as it goes on brieifly after idling.
I suggest to get the oil pump checked out.

how do you check the oil pump?
dont't you need to remove the oil sump for that?
can this be done without taking engine out or without taking out fron suspension cross bar?

It's an OEM Honda filter and covered around 6k miles this year (recently being used every day) so it shouldn't be the filter......unless Honda were stupid and didn't change it on the last service
