These are Recaro Sportster CS seats. I have bought these with the intention of fitting them into my S. Recaro does not make rails for these to fit in the S so a custom solution is required.

They will fit but be warned if you are a tall driver and want to push the seat as far back as possible, this may not happen. The rear of the seat has a strong protruding curve, as compared to the flatter backed OEM seat. It will not go back that much.

For those wanting more legroom, the Lotus Elise seats will give you over an inch more...much less comfort though.

There nice seats, I fitted dc2 recaros in mine with great success i modded my oem seat rails.. just take your seats out 8 bolt and free fit the seats, Check where they need to be so doors close and the centre cubby hole opens mark it and then you can design the rail for spec youve wrote down. Some 5mm plate welded to oem rails drill the holes 3 each side it will be and bolt them with lock tight and your done

Exige seats could be an option. One of the best seats I've sat in.

The seat can go back further once the side bag is out. I've purchased the side air bag delete panel from Recaro as these seats are sold with both options. I'm waiting for Joeh to come back from his hols so we can work on the base. It will need trimming in order to clear the drivers side box section.

They look great, how much further back will they go once you remove the airbag?

I'm not sure. Once the airbag is out ill post a pic. I cross threaded some of the screws when trying to remove the bag. Recaro put thread lock on every single nut and bolt. These seats are exceptionally well made.
