Default loon driver-advice appreciated

On the way home from work tonight...

I was in a long line of traffic waiting to turn left at some traffic lights. I Could see someone speeding down the right hand lane (ahead only). He preceeds to try to jump in the left queue right on top of the lights. I foresaw this and sped up so he had to wait his turn

The to$$er then tailgates me for about half a mile, giving me the one hand salute. I didn't rise to it-he was in a johhny boy Peugeot with blacked out windows, but I could also see he was on his mobile phone all the time!!

When we came up to a set of lights he tries to pull ahead and jerks his car left a bit forcing me to break. He then turns off to the right, I go on ahead

I have is reg.

So do I go to the coppers, ignore it, or do something else

I am tempted down the copper route, but the road where it happened is not far from my works and as you all know the car is very distinctive, don't want anyone "blemishing" it

so guys what should I do? Thing is I prolly bring these incidents on myself. I hate people deliberately ignoring safe driving and pushing in etc but then its these types of people who are likely to react. Maybe I have a death wish

Don't get me wrong Moggy, he's a thicko, but why did you feel the need to speed up and stop him doing his thing, I just let 'em go most of the time, unless it's something really dangerous.
I don't let people take the pi$$, but I rather have him in front of me than behind.

Like Subaru says - "rather have him in front of me than behind".

yep, your both right really

at the end of the day I aint gonna achieve anything. Maybe I think I can change peoples habits, so people like that will think twice, then again, some people are gonna drive agressively and discourteously no matter what.

suppose these people get their come uppance at some point, but probably write some poor sods car off in the process

thanks for advice

If you get wound up by every cnut on the road, you'll have a coronary by Friday.

(Ok - easy to think like that when you're not there!)

Rise above it and be pleased tomorrow that you've been so mature.

Forget it. Too many to$$ers on the road to worry about. Just enjoy the 'S'.
