Thumbs up Longer Steering Rack Bolts

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows where to get some longer steering rack bolts from for when fitting (12mm) spacers?

Chris Franklin has some on order but they are a month off so i'm just trying to source some a bit sooner if anyone knows where?

I believe i'm after some high tensile M10 x 130mm pitch 1.25mm, please correct me if i'm wrong.

Thanks
Rick

I shall let you know i've got one place that reckons they can get some in a few days, they are going to let me know.

Also the correct bolts are high tensile M10 x 130mm pitch 1.25mm not 1.5mm like I said above.

It's ok i've had one out the rack when I got home from work

The std ones are just shy of 110mm, I think 130's will be too long so i'm going to aim for 120's.

I was hoping it would be marked on the top of the bolt what tensile rating they are but they don't, not that it really matters anyways.

Well my std ones say 2 on the head

I've been after some 10's at least but looking into it I think 8's or anything above that will be fine, theres 4 of them after all!

I'll have more info tomos

Here we go, just ordered some from these

http://www.namrick.co.uk/browse.asp?PCID=9

120mm long, 8.8 tensile, should do the job perfectly.

I'll let you know if they are long enough when I get them

Rick
