London Marathon Result(not OT) S2k CD charity raiser :)
Hi all
You may remember some months back I sold a CD full of S2000 vids on it to help my sister raise money for MENCAP as my sister is running the LONDON MARATHON
Well the good news is that she has so far raised over 2000 pounds
And ofcouse as I type this she is on her way round the course
So a big thanks to all who donated
I will let you know what time she gets
thanks
Andy

Top effort on your sisters part! Let us know how she got on.
On the marathon note, I shall be running the New York Marathon on the 7th Nov this year to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. I'll post up details in a few weeks once I get a web page set up for donations, etc.
I started training 3 weeks ago and it's tough! I think I have 33 weeks left.

UK_2000 - I find it hard to reconcile your helping a very worthwhile charity which I wholly admire you for with your post on the Optimax Trump cards thread. Must be my age.
ADP - Well done to your sister.

Hi all,
Thanks again to ADP for that CD.
I also ran the London Marathon today and it was an awesome day. Such a great feeling when I finally crossed the finish line, but have to admit the last few miles were hard.
I was very pleased with my time too of 4 hours and 22 minutes!!
And I've managed to raise

Yeah right, my other half said the same thing. She's now done London, NY, missed today's Flora but has already started training for next year's.
Good on you one and all as I get out of breath just running to the car!!!

Well done
The sense of achievement on completion of something like that must be great. My girlfriend is a runner and is (hopefully) running london next year. Something to be truly proud of.
Hats off to you all
