If its a woman, so feck!

They want equal rights they take equal hits!

Failing that, do the carpers idea.

I think that's a bit pussy.

If you have a problem with someone confront them
Maybe you're right on that, but I'd want revenge if he'd come close to seriously injuring me and I wouldn't be too choosy how I got it. After all he might be bigger than me

Sheesh.. Get a grip dude!

IMHO, if youre bothered enough to actually do something about it, do it face to face. Creeping about behind their back is as cowardly as they were pulling the move from the relative safety of their car in the first place.

Personally, don't bother. Life's too short to get tied up in petty feuds.

man, you have no idea

you would not believe some of the things I have done.......

but no, let's not go there

let me enlighten you

one of the main reasons you don't necessarily confront people face to face is that you can't guarantee to control the situation

who might drive by?

what might they do?

who might emerge from the house - and do what?

who might see?

now, do you see?

you might call it pussy, I call it always winning

people who go nose to nose with everyone that has upset them eventually wind up in hospital or the morgue

it ain't like in the westerns

you have ice running through your veins

You should have done something about it at the time, and not turned the incident in to your Vitriol, water under the bridge.

He upset you but without any physical damage, do the same to him.

Send a lot of shit his way.

You know his/her address, you have the ultimate joker there, you know him he does not know you. You can destroy this person if you wish.

Send a lot of crap to him. I mean a lot. Pizzas, porn, double glazing. Anytime you are asked anything, quote his details. Anytime you want to tweak him, send his details that way.

Tonight for example, I think he'd like a 50 quid Chinese banquet.

Then tomorrow, they'd like a copy of some of those porno catalogues in the back of Sunday tabloids.

From the state of his driving, wouldn't you assume his drive was a little shitty. Maybe a quote from some Irish for a nice tarmac job.

Those windows look shabby, is that Everest?

Send his details to the local massage palours, feck things up for his marriage.

Shit.......they won't wanna walk anyway - get them a cab - get them 10. That galls.

Then, in 3 months time. A letter. Send it from afar. Just state on it 'Don't f*cking cut me up, EVER'.
I like it!

I would do something irritating and inconvenient but not too illegal....

That's just naive mate.

Firstly, people have to deal with issues like physicality.

Let's suppose the person that had caused you grief was twice your size (Welshman's point)? That's really going to work, isn't it?

Oh OK, so you take an 'equalizer'. That just raises the stakes to a ridiculous level.

Then there are the issues that I take into account - which is the inability to control all factors - such as a mate appearing from somewhere, a third party intervention, etc, etc.

Then there is the issue of clearly identifying yourself, thereby opening yourself up to the risk of tit-for-tat acts or complaints to the authorities.

Linked to this point would be issues of professional reputation, and the effect such publicity could have on different aspects of your life.

So, the action has nothing to do with courage, or the lack of it, but everything to do with ensuring a satisfactory outcome.

There have been times when I've confronted people face to face, and I can envisage situations when I might do it again. This isn't one of them.

Your post suggests a rather simplistic approach to the situation - ie walk away or confront nose to nose? If that works in your life - good for you.

My approach works very well in mine.

Let me know if you find yourself on the wrong end of some pikeys, the neighbours from hell or your nearest and dearest is harassed by a violent bodybuilder. I'll be happy to offer advice if you find yourself short of options.

Ok, against my better judgement, I'll bite..

My approach has served me fine so far in life. I'd prefer to rise above it, or talk to the person involved if I could really be arsed. Usually, though, I find that my life has far more fulfilling/interesting/demanding/whatever parts to it, to be wasting time on pointless vengeance like this.

I don't see how physical size affects the issue, unless you're seriously advocating turning something this petty into violence?

But at the end of the day, you were asking what we thought - I wouldn't bother. I personally can't see the point of escalating an already silly road rage incicent into anything more serious/childish.

Oh, one other thing, trust me - if I do find myself in any of the situations you describe above, I won't be following this type of course of action either!!
