it's not about bother

it's about someone taking a liberty

you don't get 'worked up' about it

you just address it

I think it's quite funny

but then apparently I have sociopathic tendencies

OK, I wouldn't address it either

It's about choice, the choice is yours

what's sociopathic?

My brother has a very short fuse, but is not inclined to willingly damage other peoples property.

He would very much confront the person face-to-face given the opportunity.

Failing that, he has done the following on several occasions... :
You know those plastic gloves at the derv pumps? Well he keeps a few of these to hand 'just in case', he then finds the former contents of a dog's bowels and strategically places it underneath the door handles and in the air vents below the windscreen. Not pleasant.

Did your brother once get a dodgy burger from a small takeaway joint in Edinburgh?

It's just that I once saw someone plaster dog $hit all along the side of the owner's Merc once, including a liberal dollop on the door handles

Personally I wouldn't confront someone - I'd worry too much they would find me and I'd get some comeback. If you involve the Police, its your word against theirs, and often the other individual will fabricate something about you so you end up in the dock instead of them.

(In Rahul's case though, nice work )

Everybody makes mistakes if everybody else went about correcting a mistake in any way they liked what would we all turn into?

had the guy apologized i would have left it at that.

I see your point about shite driving, we are all guilty at some point in our life of doing some crap driving surely? nobody is that perfect but then thats how we are.

Lowering yourself to their standard is just lowering your own standards in the end which is then a downward spiral.

I guess you may not agree with what i have said and if you don't i can supply you with a range of brake fluids, nails and small explosive charges which the army still use today to deter him from doing any further driving in said car.

1. there are mistakes and there are ' you' moves

this was unquestionably the latter

2. me too, but I'm not saying it was a guy

3. I can live with that. I can separate out standards that matter (eg helping in people in genuine need) from those that don't ( eg punishing assholes), so I don't see a downward spiral. Maybe two separate staircases.

4. you been snooping round my allotment, sorry arms dump?

In all seriousness, this behaviour hardly merits pyrotechnics . Punishment has to fit the crime.

But that doesn't mean it can't be a pain in the ass for them and fun for me.

Had they hit me, injured me and legged it, that would be a very different story.
