Default Is legal protection on insurance worth getting?

I'm getting pretty skint at the moment, what with the erection of the garage etc etc and I'm just purchasing insurance for Amanda's Mazda.

I've got a pretty good quote but can't decide if I should spend an extra

Would you want to find yourself embroiled in a legal battle arising from a prang in the car which doesn't have the cover.........?

IMO it is worth it. Most legal cover bought with your car insurance only covers that car and that policy, so if you have two cars with different companies I would suggest reading the other products t&c's to see if you are covered and if it covers you already then you wont need a new cover.

It YOU get sued, it's worth it.

However, don't believe all that bollox about pursuing your NCB or whatever.

All they do is push paperwork as a job creation exercise and unless they can trump up a whiplash claim, they ain't interested.

We're going off at a tangent here, but it's not quite as simple as that. Most so called "no win, no fee" claims managers (because that's what they are - they sub-contract the work to "proper" solicitors) require you to take out an insurance policy so that the other side's costs are covered in case you go to trial and lose.

What does
