LED versions of the pre-04 rear clusters?
I like the LED look of the new lights, but prefer the classic 2 circle layout of the older ones. Does anyone do classic S2000 rear cluster with LED's in them?

Badas' hit the nail on the head. Many things on the pre 02 were better, many things on the pre 04 were better and many things on the 04 are better.
I think we need to be left to creat our ultimate S from the 3 major MYs available now.
I do agree, LED lights look much tastier - but the 04s look a bit busy as a total light cluster. So yep, 02s with 04 LEDs would be sweet but I doubt we'll get them. Shame really.

I haven't had the S now for nearly 4 months
But I saw 2 in the same day the other day. Both were 04 & looked great.
Its surprising how different things can look when you dont see tham 30 times a day.
e.g sat in a car I could see a grey 04 parked up 10 feet away on an angle in front of me in a car park, momentarily I was trying to work out what aftermarket alloys it had , then I realised that they were 04 stock just uniformly dirty they looked great.
e.g 2
followed a Dark red 04 in Oldham & was aware how much more aggressive the rear looked with the 'new' lights & oval tips.
Its been a long hard 4 months in a Bora courtesy car

The 04 wheels do look better (I`m slowly being converted).
The 04 rear leds look better (thats what this thread is about, thus others think the same).
The 04 rear flared composite bumpers look FAR better than pre 04.
The 04 exhaust tips look better than pre 04 stock.
Moonrock is 04 only. Aside from black the coolest you can buy.
The 04 warranty is better than an 00. Coz you won't have one.
