I was looking at my Autoglym leather cream earlier on - it recommends application every 6 months I've never seen it last anywhere near that length of time... I've used it in the past and it does a good enough job, I do feel the Zymol product has a longer lasting effect though

Yeah, it certainly doesn't last 6 months, but I reckon it would do 3months okay, still having had a look earlier, there are a few lines starting to appear in the leather Need to get out there and polish!!!!1

I've used lexol only once since I bought the car, I think the seats are ok. Remember red is the most sun-sitive colour, one reason I chose black. Red will need very regular care.

I'm a bit concerned about this "lines on the seats thing" though. A brand new s2k interior is wonderfully smooth and minimalist (or it was on the old model) and the seats looked almost moulded.

Conventional wisdom suggests leather improves in character as the patina appears. It's fine on an XK120, but I wonder if this is true with the s2k?

Yes, what worries me, if our leather suite is anything to go by is that these preparations whilst softening and cleaning the leather do tend to induce creasing. All I've done so far is wiped them over with a damp cloth. They still look nice so far with no sign of the leather looking dry.

My drivers seat does have creases in it, probably due to my big bum.

And loads of advice along the way, some of it even related to the car!
