Default Leather Care

On the advice of Tifosi Red I have invested in some Zymol 'Treat' Leather conditioner.

Up until now I have been using the Autoglym leather conditioner - I found it made the leather look nice for a day or 2, but that was it. Some of the leather on the car (most noticably in the door inserts) was starting to look distinctly pink (I have red leather by the way ).

So I ordered a bottle of the Zymol stuff -

I apply the Autoglym leather care product about once every month and have been happy with the results.
I have black leather, maybe the red is more sensitive.

I use the autoglym leather care on my red seats and applied once a month seems to have a good result. The longer you leave it to soak in the better the leather looks.

Last time I got away with leaving the heater on full blast for about 15 minutes whilst I detailed the outside glass, wheels and tyres - that got the seats pretty warm. Sadly I do actually have a hair dryer in the garage for this and other things

I also use the Autoglym stuff, but only every couple of months and my leather looks fine to me (though it could do with a polish at the moment)
