These leaks aren't the seals fault, my roof has cracked beading on the roof line externally and that's what lets the water in. I'd try running some tent water proofer down the stitching line. As I'm replacing my roof next year I put a line of Aquaseal drysuit seal along the bead. It looks hideous, but stopped the morning shower on my shoulder when opening the roof.

Have well do the latches work? My MY00 had a weak seal due to warn plates. You can tack a bit of weld on the striker plates and grind it into shape for a better grasp.
Thanks louis I have checked the rear drains which are all cleared out. Another issue I had with this roof is that it wasn't attached to the rear rain rail properly and by boot filled with water.

I agree with you get what you pay for but considering so many have used him with little issue I assumed his work would be worth while. Obviously I was wrong.

Chill your pants, Mickey5. As you say, there's many satisfied customers, so he can't be a cowboy, you're just an unfortunate anomaly, which is how I've described you ever since we met

There's been moans on here about more expensive products too. They all feck up now and then.

The only other complaint I've ever seen was dealt with straight away, so he may well be helpful if you can spare the time to go back to Swansea.

I don't think there's any greater risk of getting a duff product from JS, it's just a pain in the arse if you're the unlucky one when you've travelled for a bargain.

I full accept people make mistakes, just pissed off that's all.

As said I can't spare any time in traveling back to that shit hole.

Will fix it myself, least it will be done properly-ish this time.

Of course. I'd be ranting if it had happened to me. It makes FA difference to know it's rare when you're the unlucky one.
