Right this is the solution that will solve it! It worked for me!

Go to your local garage and kindly ask if you can use the air hose to blow all the gunk out from the drainage tubes. Just stick the air hose right in the drainage tube (from underneath!) And keep yr fingers crossed that this will cure the problem!. Mine was blocked by mud and gunk but this solution cured it.

Rod it out with an old bit of pushbike brake cable inner.
The barrel nipple on one end of a bowden cable works wonders

Thanks guys, i cant locate the thread mentioned and also I cant locate the drainage hole from underneath the car.

Will try these suggested ideas.

Update: Seems as if water collects on the inside of the boot the metal parts esp under the boot lid.

The drain holes are about 10" from the side of the car, just fwd of the rear wheels. They are just rubber tubes that protrude about 1". You have to poke your arm between the wheel/arch, then fumble upwards and forwards. I'll try and post a photo for you tomorrow.

Oh, another great leak spot is when people dont fit the paper gasket behind the rear lights clusters properly

Yeah that would be great mate, when i briefly looked i couldnt see a tube.

Sorry mate, I just can't take a decent photo with the car on the ground. You cannot see the tube without the car raised, you can only feel it.

I'll see if I can get her on a lift this week..they are really obvious.

I tried to draw a picture on word, but it just looked crap and would probably confuse you.

I've even searched for about an hour to find a photo...but to no avail.

I'll be getting the car on a lift Sunday so I'll be able to take some piccies of the drain holes. I would do it tomorrow but am stuck at home with a horrific nasal infection (really hurts!).

I had a similar problem with my prelude and found that the drain holes were blocked. I got an old hangar and pushed them through and it drained out then...

have you actaully got a hose pipe in to the drainage channels by the soft top and allowed it to flush through ???
