Can you get one of those vents to house a NOS blow off valve or something? Big jet of gas firing out of it. That would be cool in a F&F kind of way.

I think 3 down each side makes the bonnet look 'complete'...
but I think unless your pushing serious power, then it looks a bit ott.

2 down each side looks good, but a little 'un-finished'?

1 down either side looks very Aston martin, but due to the shape of the car looks a teeny bit odd.

i will probably vote 2 either side for the final job

I really liked number 1 when I first did it and thought number 2 might be too much so I did it anyway.
After I'd done it I was really unsure but it grew on me and in the end I much preferred it to number 1. So I did 3.

I'm gonna wait a few months and review them all again.

Although I may well start on my spare bonnet with 3 down one side...

Or the other option is to paint the mesh silverstone...

Have you allowed for the rainwater that will be coming into the engine bay ?

If so, what did you do or is there nothing to worry about ?

Thanks
Bharat

My S1 Elise had most of the bonnet (boot) made of mesh and that was a daily driver with no issues. I will see how it goes over winter.
