Default Last set of vents cut

After a mare of a day on Saturday, I decided to make myself feel better on Sunday by completing one of those jobs I'd be meaning to try for a while. the 3rd set of vents.

The first set about a year ago.

The second set some months later

And now 3. (Excuse the crappy iPhone pic and state of the car. Needs a wash)

I'm not sure myself. I think I preferred just the 2. The latest look just seems to be trying a bit too hard.

Still, this is my practice bonnet, I still have a good unmarked one for the final configuration.

Views please.
(Don't worry about hurting my feelings, I'm thick skinned)

I really like this! I think just the two did look better though! Have you thought about maybe doing them along one side and not both?

Well the new look will complement the new nos kit that's for sure!!
As I've stated in your previous bonnet vent posts, I'm a fan but the third set (both sides) is a bit overkill on a regular S but hey just hit that nos button and leave the haters behind!!!

Another vote here for leaving it at 2 per side. Or someone a while back did 3 on one side, which looked pretty decent IMO.

Great work Gary, really neat job, i think maybe 3 down one side would be slightly more subtle, still cool though

Two. The third set vents are too big for my liking. Three sets would look good if the hole width didn't increase so much. I'm not sure about practicality of the wents. They just let water in.

yeah looks good Gary but another for three down one side, but the configuration you have now will best suit your new idea

I'd experiment with some vinyl stickers that imitate the vents. You can stick them where you want then and whatever you think looks best cut them out.
