Cheers, couldn't do my full planned route as was going to go from Ambleside to Eskdale across the top but the road was closed, so did the loop by Great Langdale instead, still a good route
Honister Pass up from Keswick to Buttermere was pretty nice too, albeit a bit narrow in places (like alot of these roads tbh) the gf enjoyed it too, although I think her favourite part was the Beatrix Potter museum in Windermere heh.
Then went off to Scotland on the A701 which was fantastic

I shouldn't have mentioned that we had no snow!
It started during the night,,just a dusting mind you...
Apparently, snow stops Saturday........... and Sunday, in the Northwest and up through the Lakes (keep to the west!), will be sunny intervals..hope so, we are at a sprint meet near Preston!
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday looks good with sunny intervals too!

Wasn't amazing last weekend either - left Banbury in monsoon and by the time got to the lake district in the aft it had cleared up alot Certainly does look worse today though esp with temperature levels - if you did take the 'S best of luck for the weather!

Wussed out totally yesterday. Phoned the place we were hoping to stay at and have postponed the trip to Sunday. Probably was a good thing as they said the road to their place was blocked!
