my yr 2000 one has 88k on the clock and seems fine.
check the bushes have been done ( search geo )
btw a pre 51 plate car is a lot less to tax than a newer one, some of the year plate cars can comannd a £400 road tax

Whilst I agree that the f20c seems to go 'pop' before other lower reving Honda engines, there are ones still running after 100k+.

My car has done 100k and is running great. The first 60k of those miles were motorway though which puts much less stress on the engine.
Would be useful to find out how the car has been driven before making a decision

mine currently has 120k on the clock and still pulls well and feels good. There are a few minor problems i'm working on resolving & i'll be buying a laskey block to replace what i have in the coming 6 months.
I'm optimistic about the engine's lifetime however the suspension creaks when i get in and out & it needs a set of front discs.
