Knock Sensor fault Question
I will try and keep this as brief as possible, but some of the background is important...
When swapping my gearbox out the other day, I damaged what turned out to be the Knock sensor (was diagnosed as this on here so thanks everybody)
I took it into a dealers and they confirmed it was the knock sensor, they confirmed a new one was circa

So there is no CEL light on at the moment?
I have your tried just reseting the code? just clear?
I have no idea what CEL reader you have?, does it read long term codes/history?

No, No light on at the moment, it just went off a couple of days after I got the CEL light, which was as soon as I started the car after putting the gearbox/engine etc back, prior to that it had been on my drive for a couple of weeks with the battery disconected.
The code reader is Just a cheapy off ebay, it gives a reset option which I havent done yet, it returns one code and no pending codes, the code it returns being P0325.

Reset the ECU.
See if it comes back.
It will come back pretty quickly or instanantly if it's buggered.
The ECU is self learning, so if a fault is corrected, it will eventually turn the CEL off but keep the code in the memory.
Note that after the reset you will need to let the car idle for about 10 mins to set the idle rpm. It will do it by itself eventually, but better to do it straight away.
