OK, can't decide what to do. My MY02 GT has the polished wheels on it and a couple of years ago 3 were replaced under warranty for corrosion, while the 4th was rejected due to minor kerbing - apparently that caused the corrosion, which is clearly rubbish given the other 3 were unmarked yet corroded, but there we go.

Anyway, the 3 that were done are in pretty good nick, although all 4 centre caps look a bit ropey, but the 1 wheel that wasn't done is in a bad way - the finish has gone to pot across 60/70% of the wheel rim.

So, what to do? I don't want to spend a lot on it, but I really like the polished finish in the sun. I'd love to get the stock 17's from a later model, but they seem to go for silly money so have discounted that. Most of the wheel refurb places I have spoken to seem to shy away from polishing the rims, preferring to provide other finishes which IMO don't look as good!

Has anyone bought second hand polished stock wheels? Just worried that I'll find the same condition wheels elsewhere.
