Default K&N typhoon induction kit...

Ow does this compare to a standard k&n induction kit.

Also why is a standard k&n soo expensive when I filter is not as bad and I could just let the filter sit in my current airbox??

The actual filter costs K&N £4. It's expensive because people will pay that much.

Way over priced and not worth the money IMO.

Won't get much power over stock. What you do get is the noise.

Not sure I'd have spent £240 on my FIPK but it came with the car and I love the induction noise

I have a FIPK on mine. Found it boxed it the boot when I bought it.

I do like the noise, and I can control it with the throttle. Sounds mental through tunnels switching to the higher cams.

I have a standard air box with k&n filter. Probably going to replace the k&n with standard as I wouldn't spend the money on it again. Not really into noisy intakes as I've always found standard airboxs on my Hondas to be far superior to other aftermarket intakes.

My k&n typoon kit was easy fit... even to mine 2007 dbw. Drilled hole & gromet for the air sensor.

In summer inwill remove the bumper duct for more cold air, the dry charger will also come off for summer.

The noise is deep when you accelerate and at 4 and 6k changes with cam. Full chat at 6k the sound just goes mental...

the wrinkle red pipe looks good and the filter is away in the bumper nice and safe from hot air.

would be good to have better access to the filter as to get access to it means jack up and wheel arch liner out bottom plastic off but its a good thing imo....

If you drive normally ie pootle about toen you only notice a small difference in noise. Its not loud and chavy or rice pipe stylee... lol
