I use one to rinse and to get some of the caked in guff off but you can't solely wash your S with the pressure hose once it's nice and soapy you gotta get in there with a sponge.
Here's what I did this weekend
Rinse with pressure hose
Soapy Sponging
Rinse with pressure hose
Diamondbrite conditioner
Rinse with pressure hose
dry with MF towel
wax
buff with towel
Took about 2 hours all in I think so not quite as crazy as some of the loonies here but as I was sponging I was finding all kinds of flecks and things I didn't like!

When I lived with my parents, I used to use their pressure washer all the time to wash my whole car.
I moved out about 18 months ago (bought the S2000 about 10 months ago) and since then I've not used one.
I washed my car last weekend and wished I had one for the wheel wells, it's a bit of a pain to wash upside down - the top of the wheel wells; with a sponge or a brush.
I'd like one of my own, but only for wheel wells.

Nothing wrong with using a Karcher... I have done for years on both my cars and it's brilliant.
The only damage it will cause will be near rust / loose paintwork.

They are fine for cleaning the patio slabs, the hardstanding and garden path BUT NOT AN S2000!
Wash it by hand give it the love and attention it deserves! (and the car)
