Were those figures achieved with the bonnet up and a fan pointed at the filter?
I would think so. Ive never seen a RR run without the bonnet open and fan running.

They look like the K&N figures from their site?

Ok, but how does this relate to an intake, and how is it fixed by the CAI?

Without OEM lid Hp: 197.3
Without lid Torque: 132.5

Stock Wheel Hp is : 199.8
Stock Torque is: 134.4

K/N System Hp is: 204.4
K/N system Torque: 141.0
A PRM shows exactly the same gains on a Dyno. This is becase the cars are dynoed with the bonnet open and big fans blowing air into them.

Completely different story when the bonnet is closed.

Read the thread also linked in my original post chaps, yes the figures were taken with the bonnet up but the author typed a footnote saying that with the bonnet down the figures were only marginally lower, 1hp I think he mentioned.

And no fan was mentioned either.

And having had one for about 4 months now, I dont have any doubts about the reliability of those stats.

BTW the heatshield is not an open arrangement, it forms a tight seal against the bonnet when closed with the plump rubber at the top, it is very well thought out.

Mart - where did you get the kit from, and do you mind me asking how much you got it for?

Group Buy?

I'd be interested!
