I'm sure the gurantee has fine print like: more power at exatcly 20 degrees C ambient when going uphill with a tailwind. Then again, does 1 hp gain qualify as a gain? I'm sure their lawyers will say yes .
Something like that:-

Do filters like these not lose power?
Not this one

See here:

The important bit:
Without OEM lid Hp: 197.3
Without lid Torque: 132.5

Stock Wheel Hp is : 199.8
Stock Torque is: 134.4

K/N System Hp is: 204.4
K/N system Torque: 141.0
Those stats aside, the whole kit is a good bit lighter then the stock intake setup, it takes air from a cool dark recess down by the wheel well, the kit is of very high quality and seems to have completely eliminated kangarooing from my car! (I had a little bit when I first fitted it but since covering the outside of the heatshield with heat reflective metal tape it hasnt happened once, of course summer will be the acid test of this though...). You can really feel the extra couple of lb/ft lower down the rev range

And it sounds gorgeous

Were those figures achieved with the bonnet up and a fan pointed at the filter?

I could pop down on Saturday morning, but got to be back in Brizzle by 1:00 latest to catch a lift to the City match!

What time do you want to meet up and where?

Phenom,

Those HP stats sound very .

Any more info on how they were taken? Find them hard to believe.

If they are representative - and the noise is not too lound couple with the HKS - then one of these may be very much BACK on the agenda!
