This must be Lindhill?

It's a real shame to hear this.

I used get mine serviced at Lindhill in Chelmsford and after the muppets at Essex Park found them to be really good, always returned calls promptly, sorted out my buzzing clutch recall thing with no hassle and were generally as a dealer should be.

I was really chuffed when they opened a branch in Southend about 10 mins from me and they seemed to be keeping up the good work.

Obviously things have changed

Is it that difficult to run a good dealership?

They are clearly a bunch of monkey c nuts and there IS something wrong with that car.

Refund of deposit & walk away. For six months I reckon, then you can destroy one of their demonstrators on a test drive by accidentally reversing through their showroom window.

Sorry you won't be getting your new car. Is there anyone here with a nice one for sale to help out?

I'd be very very wary of this, sounds like something very dubious is going on.

I know you're mega keen for the car, but honestly I think I'd just walk away from this lot, what a shower of piss.

Hey Dawn,

Sorry to hear this

I say - walk away.

Don't take this kind of cr@p.

If the dealer has pranged the car, and are repairing at their cost, how do you know if they are doing only a superficial repair ? What if there is chasis damage or something not obvious ?

There are plenty of cars around.

Keep us all posted.

Well, in which case, it isn't the same car upon which the deposit was placed.

I'd want

Couldn't agree more with the posts here.

You will be paying good money for this car and it certainly sounds like they have damaged it and are now trying to repair it.

There are plenty of straight, undamaged S2000's out there, don't accept this car, you will regret it later.

Ask yourself honestly, what is your feeling?

Every time I've ignored my gut feeling, I've regretted it.

That dealer doesn't deserve your cash.

Tell them to #### off and either find a car from the S2kuk owners or find another dealer.

Also have a chat to Honda UK customer services, if you ask Aquila Eagle nicely he can talk to some more senior folk.

I'm shocked but this dealership is a bag of donkeypoop.

I'm not.

Honda can forget any chance of becoming premium or introducing Accurist over here whilst they let these prats play pissball.
